Discover Parks Ambassadors

Inspiring British Columbians and Guests to Discover, Experience and Care for Nature

The Discover Parks Ambassadors are back for another summer season!

The Discover Parks Ambassador Program is one of BC Parks Foundations most impactful initiatives, connecting with park visitors in over 20 provincial parks across the province.

What?
Our team of Ambassadors offer educational and fun experiences to visitors. Find them at their booths or running one of their free programs, including nature walks, evening amphitheater programs, and the exciting Jerry's Rangers – a kids' program that fosters connections and appreciation for parks and nature. Jerry's Rangers graduates receive a pair of the famous Jerry the Moose Antlers!
Our Ambassadors also play a crucial role in contributing to community science efforts, recording biodiversity observations on iNaturalist. And, they extend their reach by providing programs to community groups, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to access and enjoy parks.

Celebrating the Success of 2024

Your support, enthusiasm, and love for our parks made last summer truly extraordinary. We are so excited to welcome you back for an incredible 2025 season!

Let's celebrate some of the highlights from 2024:

  • 215,253 interactions with visitors
  • 34,976 program participants
  • 11,037 iNaturalist biodiversity observations

None of this would be possible without the strong partnership we have with BC Parks. Together, we continue to collaborate closely on the development and delivery of this remarkable program.
